UPSC Postpones Civil Services Examination 2015

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced to postpone its Civil Services Examination 2015 through its official website. Earlier, this exam was scheduled to be held on 16 May 2015.

The revised date of notification will be intimated in due course. The civil services examination is conducted by the UPSC annually in three stages-- preliminary, main and interview to select candidates for prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.

Sources said the date for notification has been postponed due to the changes introduced by the government in the pattern of civil services examination.
